Johannes Ebeling, Managing Director, BioCarbon Group
Johannes Ebeling leads the management of invested assets at BioCarbon and is responsible for the origination of new project investments. He also leads commercialisation efforts in the European and U.S. markets. Prior to his work with BioCarbon, Johannes worked in several international roles in environmental markets, climate policy and international development. This included work with EcoSecurities, a market-leading carbon project developer (later purchased by JP Morgan), Macquarie Bank, advisory work with governments on climate finance and policy, and audit work with SGS and Rainforest Alliance. Johannes also served on advisory boards for the Verified Carbon Standard, the Climate Community and Biodiversity Alliance and the Forest Stewardship Council. He holds an MSc from Oxford University and an M.A. from the University of Freiburg. He is fluent in German, English and French.
Dominick Grant, Finance & Operations Director, BioCarbon Group
Dominick Grant leads financial management and operations at BioCarbon, as well as financial modelling for existing and financial appraisal of new investments. He is responsible for compliance and financial reporting, as well as day-to-day operations of the global offices of the firm. Dominick has worked extensively in environmental markets and land-based investing, including previously for Working Lands Investment Partners, a private-equity real asset investment firm, the Sustainable Resource Fund and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Environmental Markets. He holds an MBA, an M.E.M. and BA with distinction from Yale University.
